Nourish and moisturize while you wash your face and body with this gentle tallow bar of soap. This is an 8% super fat soap, meaning there is 8% extra tallow added to the recipe. This creates a much more moisturizing, gentle and non-stripping bar of soap.
Soap weight - 3.6 - 3.9oz. Very dense bars. Usually lasts 3+ months.
This tallow bar soap closely matches the pH of your skin - it is more acidic than alkaline.

Please understand that every essential oil can have a very different style of scent, some being more pungent and "loud", and others that are more subtle and mellow.
I put the same amount of organic essential oils in each batch, but there are called notes when it comes to each scent.
Top Notes: The first scent you smell; catches your nose very quickly. Easily smelled and stands out big time.

- Palmarosa
Middle Notes: Still a somewhat strong scent, but balances and carries.
- Lavender
Base Notes: Deep, but subtle. This soap scent will not stand out, but will be consistent.

1st I love how soft my hair was without conditioner after using the shampoo bar. I was a little nervous because it fell a little stiff at 1st but as my hair dried it was baby soft. Next the soap bar is fantastic. It lathers ok, but the soft feeling after is worth the not crazy sudds like the so call natural better brand that have main streamed. Overall snake oil is a lovely truly natural product.

I get unscented and have been using a lard based soap that works well but want s to try the tallow. The bars are smaller than I expected but they don’t just melt away. They make good lather.
Doesn’t irritate my skin…anywhere.
If it lasts a well as it seems to i’ll be happy.
So far tallow soap is a go for me.
I’m considering a tallow balm but I wouldn’t want additional ingredients..
Sorry about the last review I got my Tallow orders mixed up. I ordered a tallow balm from another company and it’s stuck in China. If I knew it was coming from China I wouldn’t have ordered it. But the snake oil tallow soap is great. Love the way it makes my skin feel, especially in our dry climate.
I’ve ordered my second batch, which comes timely, of Orange and I will continue to get more. Thinking about a different flavor for the next batch. Good job!!
