A physical mineral sunblock formulated with non-nano zinc oxide and grass-fed tallow. Sits on top of the skin to reflect UV rays immediately upon application without chemical filters.

This product is solid (but soft) at room temperature, similar to the soft but dense consistency of Tallow & Honey Salve. This product will heat up in your bag, and will become soft and sometimes liquidy (like all sunscreens do). Not to worry at all. The product is still safe to use and will settle back into its form when cooled. Slight olive oil separation can occur, which is easily stirred back in.

Base FORMULA (5 INGREDIENTS):

Grass-fed Beef Tallow (100% Suet)*, Utah Beeswax*, Organic Cold-Pressed Olive Oil, 20% Non-Nano Zinc Oxide, Utah Wildflower Honey*.

*Sourced in central Utah and hand-rendered in-house.

WHY IT WORKS

  • Broad Spectrum SPF 30: Non-nano zinc oxide reflects UVA and UVB rays without absorbing into bloodstream.
  • Clean Formula: Zero titanium dioxide, avobenzone, oxybenzone, or chemical filters.
  • Water Resistant: Natural beeswax base seals against sweat and outdoor exposure.

APPLICATION & TIPS

Apply evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Rub thoroughly into exposed skin. Reapply after 45-60 minutes of swimming or heavy sweating.

SHELF LIFE & STORAGE

Highly shelf-stable. Keep jar sealed when not in use. Store away from intense vehicle heat. Will likely melt and become soft in the heat, but not to worry - the product can easily be mixed and will settle back into solid form when cooled.
